Cold Weather Shouldn't Put the Adventure on Hold

Cold mornings in the RV, shoulder-season camping and winter travel call for more than another blanket. The TURBRO Greenland Diesel Heater delivers powerful, fuel-efficient heat in a compact system designed for RVs, vans, campers, boats, workshops and other properly ventilated applications.

Depending on the model selected, the Greenland provides up to 8–9kW of heat output with a temperature setting range of 46.4°F–96.7°F. A fast-ignition glow plug supports startup in extremely cold conditions, while the pulse fuel pump meters diesel consumption from approximately 0.14–0.4 L/h or 0.16–0.4 L/h, depending on model.

Control the heater through the color smart LCD controller, Buetooth app or included remote. Temperature Mode automatically adjusts heater output to maintain the selected temperature, while Gear Mode provides manual control over heat output.

And for travelers who don't stop where the pavement ends, the system is designed for operation at elevations up to approximately 16,400 feet (5,000 m).

Why Wander & Wake Chose It

This is another product that gets directly to the ROAD + CAMP side of Wander & Wake.

We know how quickly a beautiful camping weekend can change when the temperature drops after sunset. We also know RV and camper space is valuable, so equipment that provides serious functionality without taking over the entire rig gets our attention.

What we especially like here is the flexibility. Depending on the model, you can choose a compact split configuration or an all-in-one portable system, while Bluetooth, remote and LCD controls make it easier to manage the heater without constantly returning to the unit.

For people extending camping season into colder months, traveling through changing elevations or simply wanting another heating option for an appropriately equipped RV or camper, this is exactly the kind of equipment that belongs in the Wander & Wake ROAD • WATER • CAMP lineup.

Power Requirements

The heater operates on diesel fuel and requires an adequate electrical supply for startup and operation.

Rated current is approximately 3A, but startup current can reach 10–12A. Do not power the heater from a standard vehicle cigarette-lighter socket or other accessory outlet that cannot support the required startup load.

If using an AC-to-DC power supply, the manufacturer specifies a stable 12V/24V DC output capable of supplying at least 12A.

IMPORTANT INSTALLATION & SAFETY INFORMATION

This is a fuel-burning heater, so proper installation and exhaust routing are critical.

  • Diesel fuel only
  • Combustion exhaust must be vented completely outdoors
  • Never operate with combustion exhaust venting into an RV, camper, vehicle, boat, garage or other occupied/enclosed space
  • Maintain proper ventilation
  • Avoid sharp bends or restrictive routing of intake and exhaust piping
  • Keep the exhaust system away from combustible materials and surfaces
  • Exhaust components can become extremely hot during operation
  • Do not approach or handle exhaust components until completely cooled
  • Follow the manufacturer's installation clearances and instructions
  • A properly installed and maintained carbon monoxide alarm is essential anywhere fuel-burning equipment is used around occupied spaces
  • Professional installation is strongly recommended for RV, vehicle and marine applications

IMPORTANT SHUTDOWN INFORMATION

After the heater is switched off, the fan will continue operating while the system clears exhaust and dissipates heat.

Do not disconnect electrical power during this cooldown cycle.

Wait until the fan has completely stopped before disconnecting power. Interrupting the cooldown process can cause overheating and damage to the heater.

Before Long-Term Storage

Drain the fuel tank and operate the heater until the remaining diesel has cleared from the fuel lines before storing it for an extended period.

For the campers who don't believe camping season has to end when the temperature drops.
